Some of you may recall an Icelandic volcano grounding flights across Europe . A few of you may even recollect the start of a warm summer , with temperatures hitting similar highs to what we ’ ve been experiencing recently .
What you may not remember though was the founding of a new specialist lender which was quietly launched without much fanfare from a small office in Wolverhampton .
Precise Mortgages was created more than a decade ago after we recognised there were lots of people with adverse credit who were struggling to secure a buy-to-let mortgage because high street lenders ’ criteria was so strict . And despite going on to offer residential mortgages , bridging finance and becoming one of the UK ’ s leading specialist lenders along the way , helping those with less-than-perfect credit histories is probably the one thing we ’ re still best known for .

Along with the usual types of property construction we ’ ll accept , did you know that after listening to brokers ’ feedback , we now also consider properties built using modern methods of construction .
Studio flats and flats up to 20 storeys
Did you know that we ’ ll consider up to 85 % LTV on applications for flats and we allow flats in buildings of up to 20 storeys ? We even accept studio flats from 30 square meters ( although we do restrict the LTV on these types of application ) and we also allow lease extensions simultaneously on completion , regardless of the current remaining lease term .
