When we moved Skyline to being a once annual publication, we made the commitment to ensure we offered quality thoughtleadership articles that would offer significant insight across the various areas of the industry.
This edition is probably the best yet, with features that look forward to the future of our industry, whether that be hopes, as seen in our feature article from Robert Sinclair, after many years at the helm, having now announced his stepping back from Association of Mortgage Intermediaries( AMI), or plans already in place for future development across the industry, as outlined by Maria Harris from the Open Property Data Association( OPDA), discussing the work underway in this area to streamline the house purchase process.
The Building Societies Association( BSA) also joins us for an examination of the First-Time Buyers’ market, the challenges and solutions, as outlined by Paul Broadhead where I feel there is much more to come in that space, and of course we couldn’ t forget technology, with insight from Mortgage Brain’ s CEO, Zahid Bilgrami.
Add into this, D & I thinking from Sian McIntyre at Barclays, plus supporting features from lenders offering insight into their particular areas of operation, and you have this edition of Skyline. I feel it will offer you a broad understanding of this multifaceted and oftentimes complex industry of which we are all part.
I would also say that we actively apply this level of thinking to our event series’, particularly our Mortgage Showcase events which we take around the country and open to the wider industry in support of raising understanding in support of the consumer.
